I WILL ADMIT I WAS A FIRST TIMER AT THIS INFAMOUS NYC EATERY! 25 YEARS AND COUNTING THIS RESTAURANT HAS BEEN SERVING SOME OF THE MOST ELITE.... IT WAS INEVITABLE BEFORE WE ENDED UP HERE!
WHAT I ATE: WAS DRINKING THE LYCHEE SAKETINI- WHAT A GREAT COMBO AND VERY UP MY ALLEY... FOR THE TABLE WE PICKED AT THE ASIAN LUMP CRAB CAKES (NOT SUCH A CROWD PLEASER) AND THE CRISPY SHRIMP STUFFED W/ ASPARAGUS & SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS (EXTREMELY YUMMS- SUCH A GIVEN SINCE THERE FRIED) AND THEN MY ENTREE..... THE STEAMED CHILEAN SEA BASS MARINATED IN BEAN CHILI PASTE W/ A SESAME GINGER SOY BROTH ON A BED OF BOK CHOY... UNREAL!
VERDICT: COMPANY- AMAZING AS ALWAYS... I WOULD GO BACK FOR THE SEA BASS SINCE IT WAS JUST THAT AMAZING BUT I JUST EXPECTED MORE... STILL UNSURE WHAT ALL THE HYPE IS ABOUT GUESS I'LL JUST HAVE TO GO BACK TO FIGURE IT OUT!

SO I WAS IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW BLACK PATENT PUMP.... A CLASSIC MUST HAVE IN EVERY CLOSET... I MANGED TO STUMBLE ACROSS THIS GREAT PAIR!! NOW B IS FOREVER SWEARING BY J. SIMPSON'S SHOE LINE.... AND NOW I FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHY!!!NOT ONLY ARE THEY HOT & AFFORDABLE BUT THEY ARE RIDICULOUSLY COMFORTABLE 4 1/2 INCH HEEL! THE TRICK IS ALL IN THE HIDDEN PLATFORM. HIGHLY RECOMMEND JESSICA SIMPSON'S LIZZA PUMP!

So we (me B and Kate) finally made it to ... 16
HANDLES! With more options then imaginable for both fro yo and toppings it was slightly overwhelming...yet amazingly delicious! I would only add those little taster cups for people to get a sample of the different flavors before they commit. What helps add this place to the top of my list is that you pay by how much it weighs. This is perfect if you only want a little or a million different toppings!

I ATE: COOKIES N CREAM FRO YO WITH BANANA AND COOKIE TOPPINGS

I've been two separate times to this place.... both times I happened stumbled upon it! A sport buffs dream with a touch of the LES. White leather booths with dim lighting.... music ... and more televisions then needed all focusing on sports! A "new american" take on some classic comfort dishes with great drink specials... what else do you need?! Def a chill place and worth checking out there happy hour.... and sunday specials $3 mimosas & bloody's from 12-4!

CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF....

I FINALLY PURCHASED THE CAPE THAT I'VE BEEN DYING OVER.... NOW THAT IT IS ACTUALLY GETTING WARMER OUT I CAN HOPEFULLY TOSS MY WINTER COATS TO THE SIDE AND ENJOY THE SPRING WEATHER IN MY NEW FAB CAPE & DID I FORGET TO MENTION... IT HAS A HOOD! YOU CAN FIND IT OVER AT AMERICAN APPAREL!

Since I'm a huge foodie I thrive on going to and recommending all different kinds of restaurants around the city.... Don't be fooled this list will grow... but here you will find the most recent places I've been and what I've tried...


PARK AVE WINTER
Went on a Sunday for brunch. ($35 prix-fixe pastries, appetizer, main course) amazing menu and decor, both change according to season. More elegant rather then trendy. Def a splurge since unfort drinks are not included and not so cheap!
I ATE: Butternut Squash soup w/ Toasted Pumpkin seeds & Filet Mignon, Roasted Shallot Glaze & Sunny-Side up eggs
VERDICT: Worth the experience and I guess the money since I didn't eat the rest of the day! Food was amazing!


BUTTER
My Winter Restaurant Week Pick.
I ATE: Started out with the Butternut Squash soup which was extremely creamy, perfectly rich and overly filling.... lucky me I saved room for the Duck Confit with Grilled Shitake Mushrooms an Apple Puree and Charred Brussels Sprouts.... and then there was dessert... Carmalized Bananas Arborio Rice Pudding with Dark Rum and Vanilla Ice Cream.....DELICIOUS
VERDICT: A must for Restaurant Week... be prepared to go all out and spend a HUNK of change but simply WORTH every penny!


BUDDAKAN
There's not much you can say about this place besides simply amazing! From the location to the scene to the food... just flawless!
I ATE: Since I was with a group we ordered a few things to start: Vegetable dumplings, Deviled Tuna Tartare, Steamed Sea Bass Roll, & Edamame dumplings. For my entree I opted for the Crispy Calamari Salad which was surprisingly huge. Lets not forget dessert...we over indulged in the unreal Chocolate Peanut Butter Bombe!
VERDICT: TRENDY...$$$$.... A MUST TRY....UNREAL...ENOUGH SAID!

Great if your a Mac n Cheese fan since that is there specialty. If you are in the mood for comfort food this place will deliver, with a nice size list of toppings and portions. You can even create your own masterpiece!
I ATE: Cheeseburger Nosh size
VERDICT: Cheap Eats!!! Portion was just enough to not make me ill. And yes this Mac n Cheese is THAT GOOD!

I HAVE A SERIOUS SWEET TOOTH... AND WITH WHAT LOOKS LIKE RAIN FOR THE WEEKEND I WILL BE INSIDE AND FORCED TO BAKE! WHEN BAKING OUT OF A BOX HANDS DOWN I GO FOR NO PUDGE BROWNIES! EXTREAMLY DELICIOUS AND GUEWY AND CHEWY... AND FAT FREE! SOOO WORTH EVERY BITE AND ALMOST NO GUILT ATTACHED!
